i also have a 504 its a good little tractor , it is a little underpowered, a good super H will out work it pretty bad , it has a very small motor, derived from a C farmall. i use it as a chore tractor and move round bales with it,very dependable, it is just not impressive with a plow, im used to 150+ hp tractors so the 504 seems really underpowered to me.but as a chore /feeding tractor its excellent, the factory 3 pt and power steering make it alot nicer to run than a H or M. they bring about 2500.00 here (north texas)
