The way we put in sleeves is to pull them in with the OTC sleeve puller then send the block to the machine shop and have them honed on a power honing machine, that way the bores are roundagain.I learned my lesson on an 856. It ran about 30 minuets and scored a sleeve, when I pulled it down and put a new sleeve in there was a high spot about the size of a dime on the front side of the sleeve about half way down. Since then I run a feeler gauge all the way around the piston looking for spots that the clearance is to tight. An other thing we do is send the rods in and have the bottom ends resized and we always replace the rod bolts.
