The 4600 hrs. would be considered low hrs. for a tractor of this vintage. The engine is a wet sleeve eng. It is suspect to 0 ring failure like all of these engines no matter who made them. I like the 856 better myself. 7000 could be on the high side. Offer him 5000 and see where you will end up. Are the TA and clutchs working good.
