I have a tach on my Farmall 300, the gear is fine in the distributor, the problem is the shaft in the tach is froze. So instead of doing the greenhorn thing and trying to force it (I'm learning), I put some penetrating oil everywhere I can and am letting it sit while I ask the experts. The movement / indicator still moves freely, but the shaft where you screw the cable onto / into is frozen. Thoughts suggestions. I'd like to have the tach working, 1. Because it should and 2 Because I'd like to be able to run a PTO based generator. Thanks In Advance Dave Gibson
