A friend of mine died, who was into old cars and swap meets, and left an IH battery box cover amongst his collection of "stuff". His boys gave it to me, knowing I was into old tractors. It is approx. 9 1/2 X 7 5/8 with four battery hold down rubbers, two long and two short, located diagonally from each other. It has two single slot forks or tangs on the long ends for the hold down bolt and wing nut. I know it's not for an M. It's all faded but as straight and solid as new. I don't really care what it fits except to use for partial trade for an M under fuel tank battery box, or the MD platform mounted battery box beside the seat bracket. Thanks in advance. Jim
