My speculation is that you can get about half as much traction and scraping with the mid blade as you would with a rear (fast hitch blade). And you would not have the versatility as you have with a back blade (push and pull).
Look at "Wegeners" site they have a couple for sale (divide the price buy 2) with pictures. also look at Wardners photo page he has a scan of one from a book. Good luck and let me know what you find I am thinking of puting one on my Super C too. Steve K
