The symptons you mentioned lead me do think that you still have a valve guide problem. The oil that would run down the exhaust valve stems would not get burned like that that would run down the intake valve stems. The exhaust valve stem oil would get blown into the manifold and usually weeps around the manifold gasket. Another symptom would be oily carbon on the opening exiting the muffler. Do a compression test to determine the condition of the cylinders. Good luck.
