If you use your c on a reguler bases convert it to 12 volt and quit beating yourself up.A $35 dollar delcatron and a 12 volt batteary will make your life much easier or if you want to keep your tractor stock, you can have your oringial starter and generater converted to 12 volt.Starter will usally be all right on 12 volt this step gets a little pricey.Sometimes if the tractor has been overhaulled with high compressan pistons this can make them turn over hard.
