gear box?

We wave a spare gear box from a 41 BN.Would it be hard to take the broken gear box out of a 44 BN and put in the one from the 41? Do the splines from the rear axles just pull out?The ones to the engine?Is there any pins,bolts,ect. holding them in? will it take over a day? Please any replys can you make it as simple as possible because I' am only 15 and I know as much as my father when it comes to tractors. Thanks Shawn
