sometimes finding a gen shop is hard to do the slots between the comutator bars need to be cleaned and the end will have to be turned on a lathe get a price as you can get a rebuilt one for 75exchange field coils will probably run 40 or so installed the arm can run another 45 or so that is why I do my own work if the fields are bad or an armature is bad the best way is a rebuilt cheaper in the long run get a good estimate first
