I worked at FARMALL during most of the '86 Series production time. I ordered tires & wheels, batterys, paint, some stampings, O-Rings, and ELWOOD Axles. The "TACO Tractors" were regular WFE, not AWD. At least when they left the plant. They were all supposed to get Good Year tires frt & rear, and mounted duals also. After the first batch were built, Mexico said They would accept GoodRich tires but no Firestone or Armstrong. We built those tractors at the rate of 50 to 60 per DAY. It took 5 to 6 semi loads of tires just for the rears A DAY. Actually to make sure they all had GY's on them the Tire Room mounted NOTHING BUT 18.4 X 38 8 ply GY's ALL DAY. GY couldn't keep up with Us. On narrow Frt's, We only ever built about a dozen at most per year. They took special tires I only released as required, 7.5L-15's. And they were all built in the same week and were small smaller tractors like 786 and 886. But the arts books show the NF was avail. as an option.

He owned a small sawmill for sawing "baccer" sticks. The Super A was the powerplant. When I was old enough (7 or 8), I would get up early and be dressed to
