History lesson, go with the boards first thoughts!I had piston slap and boy did I have it. Pulled the pan and guess what I found piston parts, one chunk about the size of a quart jar lid and the two sisters half dollar sized.All fit together and not a lot of secondary bits in the pan. Oil pump looks great and all the other pushers and pullers are clean as can be expected on a 60 year old tractor. Next step-I know the answer, any suggetion or direction, can I buy 1 piston rebuild kit? I will check the other 3 for good measure.
Where would be a good place to find these parts?
By the way I can't believe the parts fel into the pan. Help me out ya'll jiM

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
