SMTA carb

During the cold weather it started great, thought I had the secret down. Now that it has warmed up it wants to flood on me when starting. use very little choke and about 1/8 throttle. When it starts I get black smoke, over fuel, and I can't open the throttle up or it will die. I put in a piston and sleeve kit last fall, grund the valves, set valves at the time. have changed plugs several times and now using champion d23s. have also been through the carb more times thatn I cna remember, the last time was this wekend and set everything by the book. replaced needle and seat, float, idle jet. any suggestions?
