Im between a rock and a hard case here guys. I need lots-o-help. I have a crack right underneith of the bull gear on my H. Not big crack. 16 or so inches, thats all. That happened when the inner axel bearings came out, went under the gear, And so on. Anyway. I tryed JB Weld on this sucker. its good stuff, but wont handle the weight of a five foot brushhog on a three point hitch. I want to weld this crack up so it will stay and keep my oil in and the lawn oil-less. But here we go with the weldin cast iron. I need some advice on what to do. I know i can drill holes on ends of cracks to keep it from spliting more. But what would you guys do?
