Dan is right on...one way to determine if the adjusting block is off is to loosen the screws connecting the trottle shaft to the connecting rod housing. With tractor running and throttle set to idle, stick a long screwdriver under that end of the tube that goes back to the carb and gently raise up on the tube. If the tractor idles down, your adjusting block is more than likely mis-adjusted.//FB
