There were a few differences. The 39 and early 40 had a smaller Pto shaft, at least the H, A, and B did. Also they used dzus fasteners to fasten the sheet metal. I'm not sure, but I think they, like the H had a recessed transmission cover, where the seat was mounted. This allowed, as far as I could tell, better draining of rain and snow??????? The seat, I think was different too. Somebody else can explain better the magneto than I can. I normally take the tires over to a truck and tractor tire place to drain the calcium chloride, but if it is solidfied, I'm afraid you'll have to have the tire cut off. Do you have a frontend loader? or a friend that has one?
