1955 IH CUB Transmission Noise.

Recently purchased IH CUB 1st & Rev., Very noisey 2nd 3rd OK Drained Oil Cloudy, ? But no filings in it. Are there bearings making noise ? or Wrong Oil? What Type of Oil 80 90 Gear Oil ? All gears look OK. I have taken shift cover off and can't see any problem . I guess I should have checked it more carefully before buying Please HELP ! Any info Would be Appreciated Regards TERRY.
