If you do a search in the archives on this site you will find a million questions and answers on the electrical systems of Super C's and other Farmalls. Now, why do you want to go to negative ground? Is your system still 6 volt? It is my understanding that if you change from + to - or vice versa you need to re-polarize the generator on a 6 volt sytem, I don't know how to do that but it is in the archives also your ammeter will show a discharge unless you reverse the wires. If your system has been converted to 12 volts I believe it has to be negative ground. My father always told me if you convert to 12 volts the wiring should be changed, especially if it is the old cloth covered wiring. Otherwise is likely to short out or burn up. A six volt starter will work for quite some time in a 12 volt system, the lights on the other hand will burn up, also the coil probably won't last long and should be replaced with a 12 volt one. I probably put things in here that don't matter but figured I cover the bases. Good luck

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
