Super M Year Value?

A friend has a Super M for sale, actually, he is loaning it to me to harrow and hoping I will buy it. It is very clean and runs very well. Everything works except the battery box is a bit corroded. He has replaced all the hydraulics. Three of the four tires are new. It leaks no oil. The serial number is 29720 CJ. The engine is stamped 356980 RI. Can anyone determine the year of manufacture?
I tried the serial number page on this forum but it asks for model numbers I do not recognize. Also, opinions of value would be helpful. I am on the border of New Mexico and Colorado. Thanks in advance for any information.
