I did the same as the last post, turned original bracket upside down. Mine is a smta which should be about the same. I drilled and taped the front of the upper thermostat housing to bolt the adjuster strap on, used the original and slotted the outer hole. I had to put a spacer(a 1/2 inch nut)between the front of the bracket and the mounting hole on the alternator. I also had to use a 35 inch belt, my original was 34 inch. works great and fits well under the hood.
