Black F-20's and Such

There has been a little discussion on the tractor board about black tractors. I have seen some black (not dark blue or gray) F-20's and would like to know something about them from the folks who should know. Did IH do this, something the dealers did, or just a few collectors who liked to see them black?

By the way, we have a CaseIH 1640 combine, a Farmall Cub, a 2 bottom Little Genius plow, and some big IH implements so I guess we are IH people to a certain extent.
