For the 1969 era, I doubt that there were very many farmers still pulling a picker. In JD combines, the 45, 55, 95 and 105 series were common. In 1971 the famous JD 4400 series was out and produced for almost 15 years.

Now if the date was 1949, A Farmall H could handle a one row. A Farmall M a two row.
