Dad farmed in North-Western IL till '72 and used a 2-ME mounted picker as did many of Our neighbors. Combines didn't really take-over until the 70's in Our area. Tractor pulling a picker in 1969 could have been anything from an M, 400/450, 460/560, 656/706/806, 756/856, JD 3010/4010, 3020/4020. I won't even list the orange, other green, yellow or blue ones it could have been.
