The Red, I am working on a 1944 H which I refer to as "Rusty". The other day I decided to take the fenders off. I had soaked the bolts with penetrating oil for several days and then I torched the housing a bit..there are 8 bolts, I snapped 5 of them off! I did get them out with vise grips on the stubs . I didn't have enough for one day and decided to loosen the rear wheels, after heating them I broke a 3\4" Johnson bar trying to get them off, I did succeed. These rusty tractors are going to separate the men from the boys...what a difference between this one and the H I am finishing..but its still a challenge and its still fun...it was my friend's Johnson bar!!! Good luck from Mike Soldan in Exeter Ontario!
