I'd be a bit leery of forcing that thing with a hydraulic jack. Maybe you could jack one at a time if you could unbolt the rods and swing them out of the way of the crank. The problem with that thought is that you can't swing 'em out of the way unless you can move things at least a little bit! I think I'd opt for oil, maybe heat, and lots of patience. By the way, I looked at the paper belt pulley for my '43H, and I think that "thing" you have on your belt pulley drive is definitely the remains of the pulley after the paper has long since left the premises!
