Congrats on your 140. I used a Super A and later a 140 with a Woods L59 mower for 18 years to mow my 5 acres. I sold the place about 5 years ago and the tractor with it. Used the same mower all that time, but changed tractors when I had a chance to get the newer more powerful 140. I think the 140 will easily handle the 6 ft mower in regular lawn mowing service. If you are talking about knee high grass, maybe not so good, but it will do a lot. I used the L59 to "bush hog" my garden in the fall. I did my neighbor's once and he was amazed how fast I did it. On mine, I had the wheels turned in, but the rims set out to max distance. With the L59, that means you run over a little uncut grass, but it never caused any problem. It's not enough that you even will notice. I highly recommend setting the wheels like that for the extra stability if you have any slopes. Also, solution in the tires is a good idea, because that lowers the center of gravity, also helping the stability. If you have much to trim around, and are mowing less than 5 acres, I'd go with the L59. Hope this helps and good luck. You will enjoy the 140.

A copse of wildbreaking silver birch and oak trees surround the top si
