Thanks to everyone for the advice. Without a doubt I will need a ton of it. I am planning on restoring the "C" back to it's orginal condition as it was sold (who knows when as of now). I want to put it away and use it for some of the old tractor shows in my area. (The Eastern Shore of Maryland). I will get all numbers off of it tonight. Have heard that the rims on the front of it may have been changed. Right now it has 6:00 X 16" tires on the front. The lady that I bought it from had 5 Farmalls total. 1 was this "C", one was a "A" Culit Version, 1 was a "M" with a wide front end and a 3 point hitch setup, and 2 "H"'s, one of the "H"'s had flat "SPOKE" rear wheels. The front rims on the "C" that I got have the same style flat "SPOKE" design that was on one of the "H"'s. Two of my friends went with me when I picked up my "C". One of them bought the "A" Culti Version for $350.00, and the other bought one of the "H"'s for $300.00. The "A" and "C" were in the best condition and both he and I plan to restore them. My other friend wants to get his "H" running and use it to move boats around in his shop and yard area. The "A", and "C" are not stuck and were said to have been run last about 2 1/2 years ago. The "H" is stuck and my friend has removed the spark plugs and poured a mixture of diesel fuel, kerosene, and liquid wrench into the cylinders. He plans to let it sit for about a week, then put it into gear and rock back and fourth it a little each day, and hope that it will become unstuck with out breaking any rings. I will try to take a couple of pictures of them and figure out how to post them. Again thanks to everyone for the much needed advice.

An Old-Time Tractor Demonstration - by Kim Pratt. Sam was born in rural Kansas in 1926. His dad was a hard-working farmer and the children worked hard everyday to help ends meet. In the rural area he grew up in, the highlight of the week was Saturday when many people took a break from their work to go to town. It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer. It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
