Bob, Well, I have my 300 wired up but I'm having some problems. When I turn the key to the on/run position, I see about a 5 amp discharge on the ammeter. On several occasions it has been 10 amps, but I think this is due to the meter itself. When I turn the key to the start position nothing happens. I have started the tractor several times by crossing the solenoid at the starter with the key in the on position. When I rev the tractor up the ammeter pegs out at 20 amps on the charge side. After first starting the tractor the ammeter will show a minimal charge, the needle only jumps up when I increase the RPM's past half throttle or so. What's happening? I've had a charger on the battery, even when the tractor has been running. Turning the key off stops the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thor
