I'm not familiar with the IH 464 and can't remember your earlier post. But if it misses at idle when hot I would think that the fuel mixture is getting richer when the air get hotter. Have you tried adjusting the carb when hot? On the ignition side if it has points check for point flutter. Look at the ignition with a timing light and see if you can see it move around a little. May want to replace the points with an electronic ignition, that would eliminate the ignition problem.
