I know when the 15-30 (maybe the 10-20 also) was intruduced they had to offer a lifetime warranty on the crankshaft due to the fact that it was riding on two large roller bearings on the ends with out any support in the center and not the traditional set-up with bearings(babbit?) on the ends and in the center. People were a little leary of this set-up eventhough the crank was massive, and thus necessitated the warranty.
