Buy at least two packages of packing material. If I recall I usually stick in one and stick the big nut back on. If the nut cranks down pretty far, then I remove it and add a second piece of packing. To remove the seals from the hub, open up a vice and you can pound the seal out with a long punch through the hub. It and the ball bearing assembly will fall out pretty easily. When you get ready to reassemble, pack those ball bearing assemblies with grease BEFORE you stick them back in. Don't grease the two fittings until you have the pump and fan blades mounted back on the M. Othewise that front grease seal will shoot out when you are greasing it. Been there done that!!!!!!!!!
