Red, I used a sledge hammer handle, put a hydraulic jack under the tractor and jacked the sledge handle up until it reached the piston, then continued jacking until it came loose. The one that was really stuck almost lifted the tractor off the ground before it broke loose. I then broke the cylinder sleeve apart to get the piston out, glass beaded it, replaced the rings and used a good used sleeve(honed). Still have 125 psi compression after 4 years of occasional use.
