If the weeds have some hieght to them, you will plug a harrow on an A within minutes. Roundup would be a good idea. Start with a bottom plow and turn it all over. then harrow it till its pullverized. Usin an A will take a lot of time. the disk needs to be heavy to smash up the grass chunks. If it rides over the grass you will have trouble gettin it growin soon or may have to wait for natural decomposition. Then u need to make sure its level and smooth or you will have a bumpy field after the grass grows
