M tranny knock

We recently picked a 48 M, wide front, dual
wheels, with an LPG conversion. It's a really
nice tractor. The only problem is a steady knock
in the transmission. It does it in 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
4th, reverse, and neutral but not in 5th. When the
clutch is disengaged it quits. Any ideas what's
causing this knock? Thanks Greg W.
