Andy - Hate to disagree, Oil bath A/C ARE relatively trouble free, but I've read articles in farm magazines that Engine companies have tested the filtraction effectiveness of all diff. types of air filters. Pleated paper properly sized are the best. They get about 99+% of the dirt. Best oil bath A/C could do was about 90%. The 2-stage dry type air cleaners used by IHC and most other equip. co's. are most of the reason Stuff lasts so long now days.
