Hi Folks, I went to an auction yesterday in Pine Island, MN. The farmer was retiring and building a new house in town. All of his equipment was very clean and one owner. I'll list some of the prices below: 1956 Farmall 450 w/ 2 PT,PS,WF $3600 Early 560 w/ IH2001 Loader $5700 McCormick 120 Sickle Mower $750 McCormick 2A conditioner $100 New Holland 273 Baler w/ kicker $950 8 ft. 2 pt. Back Blade $750 John Deere #40 spreader $1000 I went there hoping to get the back blade, but realized I was way outclassed. It seems like this hobby is turning, or has already turned into a rich man's hobby. I realize that I'm whining and there are deals to be had out there, but I'm really getting frustrated. I'm trying to run a small farming operation and the collectors are kicking my butt! What does anyone else think out there? I'd be interested to hear what others think. Feeling sorry for myself, Thor
