was difficult. And when I did, there
was only one size available..
I figured I could find a box or modify
my box to fit it.
...It is my understanding that 8V batteries
were popular in the 1940s and 1950s when
autos were 6V. 8Vs will not burn out your
lights and the starter will handle the
extra volts. A 6V generator actually puts
out more than 6Vs...This is to allow for
attenuation in the battery charging process.
