farmall 140 bogs down

This spring (with the encouragement from many on this forum) I purchased my farmall 140 tractor for cutting six acres of grass. I have been very pleased with its performance, but now I seem to have a problem. After just a few minutes of cutting my tractor boggs down and dies. It will start right back up and will still idle and even ride fine as long as I don't try to cut or go uphill. If I put any strain on the engine, it dies? Where do I start looking for problems?
