I had problems getting the #3 sleeve out of a 1951 H project of two years ago. I had 125 footpounds on the puller and I pounded at the bottom of the puller with a pipe and sledge hammer. It took an hour to get it up the first inch. I just kept the pressure on the puller and the vibrations from the pounding did the trick. It took 2 hours to get it out. As mentioned, take a pick and make a groove around the outer sleeve edge and the cylinder wall. Keep it full of PB blaster. That worked well with Old Rusty H.
