Need some help... I have a M Farmall with thin wall 4 inch piston sleeves. I am wanting to replace the worn sleeves with new 4 inch sleeves. I made a puller to remove the sleeves by taking a 4 and 1/8 inch disk and brazing an old piston ring to the top. The ring will fit into the bore and center the disk under the bottom of the sleeve. The edge of the disk sticks out approximately 1/16 inch all the way around to contact the bottom of the sleeve. I have used a 5/8 inch threaded rod through the center of the disk to make a puller. I have put considerable pressure on the sleeve with the puller, but it will not move a peg. Through the side inspection plate, I can see a good bit of rust on the outside of the sleeves. Any ideas on how to get the old sleeves to move? Thanks in advance John
