Overrunning clutch

Can anyony tell me about a overrunning clutch? I have a IH300U without a live PTO. I use the PTO mostly for brush hogging. Would a overrunning clutch eliminate my need for a live PTO in this case? I would much rather use one of these then brake my tractor in half to instal a live PTO. Thank you, Steve.
