I use 10 guage wire as well for everything. Mine does not have the 4 position switch it just does lights and has a regulator to control the charge rate. Are you able to achieve more than 15 amps charge? In a side note I'm kind of curious how the voltage regulator works but haven't been able to find any diagrams showing this.
