For those of you who didnt read my first post I had a really bad problem with the front wheels wobbling on the H in 5th gear. The worm and sector gear doesnt have very much play in it so I jacked the front of the tractor up today and pushed the front wheels back and forth and noticed little movement. What I found was a little different. You probably dont remember but I had a post awhile back about when I had something heavy on the 3 pt and whenever I let the clutch up or hit the slightest hole I would hear a loud BAM BAM coming from the front. Well I noticed that while I was jacking the tractor would go up about a 1/2 inch before the front wheels even thought about going up. I let the jack down and it made the same noise. Jacked it up again to observe more and the whole tractor moves up probably a little more than a 1/2 inch before the front bolster wants to come up. Could it be a bushing or bearing that is bad? Thanks in advance!!! I think I will try to work on it friday. RC
