Since You didn't get any water out of the crankcase of the 300 and it should be clean inside since it's an LP, I think You'll find something simple and CHEAP to fix to get it running. Much more $$$$$ and work to find a running complete engine and get it installed! These tractors aren't like cars & pick-ups where You throw the engine away & replace it. They are economically rebuildable to BRAND NEW spec.s. Any engine You find for sale will probably have more wrong with it than the engine You have now, or will cost well over $1000.
