Hello everyone, I recently purchaced a Farmall A tractor, a 1940 hand start, I was wondering if anyone knows what the correct mag should be, My tractors mag is a Fairbanks Morse unit that has a single wire terminal on it to hook the shutoff switch to but the problem is that my tractor has a cable that goes to the mag for the mechanical type shutoff like the IH type mag has but the cable has nothing to hook to, Does anyone know witch type is correct for this tractor? The parts manual shows both types and the cable may not be original either, I would like to get the correct system on it, Thanks.
