There is no doubt I love this old diesel, it was my grandfathers. He sold it before he passed away and I bought it back. It even still has the leather belt he bolted onto the left fender on it. He put it there so I would not fall of while he was working in the fields. He retired in 84' when I was 10. He worked a late afternoon shift so I spent a lot of time with him in the summer. It about kills me to have problems like this with the old girl. As for the tractor I was working her no-tilling some CRP land one day and she started fine. The next day It acted like it was choking itself out. And yes I have checked the butterflies. Plenty of spark. If I ride the starter it will keep firing but will only fire at the speed ot the starter. As soon as you let off the starter is loses rpm's till it dies.
