mounting mag on H

Just finished rebuilding my mag on my 45' H. Am ready to mount the mag but was wondering if there are any tricks I need to know about mounting it correctly. I have TDC on piston #1 and rotor set on #1 on distributer cap. Is there any trick to setting the trip mechanism on the mag itself. The IT manual goes into a long process of making sure it is set to trip at the right moment but after studying the mag, I can't see where there is anything that needs to be set at this point. Am I missing anything on this one. Any help would be appreciated.
