I have an M but am unsure if it originally had shutters. I know it don't have them on it now, but can't remember if it has any rimnates left on it if it did. I guess I will haft to look. My H has a couple things left on it from shutters becuase a torch was used to simply blow off the rod in a couple places and the little crank to actuate them is still in its original hole. I am just guessing but assume that there was a rod that continued on up to the radiator and reached a threaded thing that would change pitch of the shutters. I am unsure of the routing of this rod. I have never seen an original complete assembly but am sure that it would be a simular set up on the H and M. I think the threaded peace is still on my H but even some of it is gone. I have some shutters on my F-20 but am missing the actuating controller so I don't know what those consisted of either. Nobody seems to run distillate anymore and the interest in shutters at this site, well I have never seen it discussed. I just burn gas in my H and M but would think shutters would be nice in winter time to help tractor run warmer. If I could find a complete set I would put them on but you know I have see probably 500 H's and M's but don't ever recall seeing shutters that were still on and functional. I don't know if the M had the turn crank to actuate shutters for sure but I know my H did have. Yes there is a push / pull rod to engage and disengage belt pulley. Also one for hydraulics and another one for PTO shaft. All had there own location.
