H and M throttle shaft interchangeable??

The throttle shaft on my 47 H is bent up pretty bad. The one I found the other day is on an M. They have the same type throttle. Naturally, I did not have a tape measure with me. Will it fit my H or do I need to keep looking? Thanks folks. Fireman
