Thanks, I read my F-12 and F-30 opp manuals last
night and they both said to fully retard the spark. the Farmall regular manual was unclear on this. I guess as long as it fires after or at TDC
it wont kick back as long as I don't forget to
trip the manual impulse coupling pawl. I think the way I have it set now, it fires at TDC without
the the pawl tripped. The impulse coupling retards it even further, so I guess I do have it retarded too far.
